Reporter: What happend with you, abdulfattah?
-
Abdulfattah: A 4x4 Jeep stopped, and took us (3 of us)
-
They started beating us in the car until we fainted
-
Reporter: Did they hit you with sticks or..?
-
Abdulfattah: First they hit us with sticks. After that, they started hitting us with anything they had on them
-
They hit us with their belts and Knives (not sharpened edge)
-
They took us to one warehouse.
-
Reporter: Where was this warehouse?
-
It was in Abeedeen Palace.
-
The palace is basically a group of cells
-
The three of us were held in one cell
-
They kept beating us, telling us "you're revolutionaries"
-
We said "Yes, we are revolutionaries"
-
(Man) Give me your hand, see how their belts marked on his hands
-
My friends bloods, who died in my hands.. This is their blood
-
After that, they could not find anything one us
-
Reporter: How old are you?
-
I am fifteen years old.
-
Reporter: And those who were with you?
-
I was the youngest amongst them
-
Then, they came in with black whips. They started pounding the ground, and dragging us in front of them.
-
They tied us to the whip by our feet, dragged us on the ground, and hit us on our back.
-
We'd sit on the ground, and they'd start hitting us with pens, stationary material, and electricity.
-
They electrified us the first day we were there..
-
After that, they came and to the creek. They could not find anything on us, today, from around 3 or 4 hours.
-
Reporter: Who died?
-
Two of my friends..
-
Reporter: What are their names? Tell us their names..
-
Islam and Ahmad
-
From Alsharqiya and Helwan.
-
Reporter: Were they with you in Tahrir Square?
-
No, they were here, in Fateh University.
-
Reporter: Did any force investigate with you? Ask you any questions? (AbdulFattah Shakes his head sideways)
-
Reporter: Why do you think they did this to you, abdulfattah?
-
I do not know.
-
Reporter: What were they telling you?
-
They would say "You are revolutionaries. You are the thieves who robbed this country. You are the thugs"
-
You I don't know what.. We did not know what to respond to them. Every time we tell them no, we want to fix the country, they'd say no and hit us.
-
They'd tell us to write something and they'd tape it.
-
Reporter: Write what?
-
That "you ruined the country, you did this" and they'd film us.
-
They took statements from us, statements we did not say.
-
Reporter: They wanted to frame you with crimes. Crimes they wanted to hold someone responsible of.
-
Reporter: Do you know the names of the authorities who caught you?
-
(Man) Weren't they calling each other with titles?
-
No, they would call each other with letters.
-
Reporter: Give us an example
-
Like H, A, M, S. Like that.
-
You were there Thursday dawn, Friday, Saturday, Sunday..
-
Abdulfattah: Two weeks, Those two weeks. I have been caught for 22 days.
-
Reporter speaking to His father: Who did you report his disappearance to?
-
Father: I turned the world upside down trying to find him.. Everyday they'd say his name isn't there.
-
I turned the world upside down for him..
-
Reporter: What did they feed you, abdulfattah?
-
They starved us for three days. No food, no water.
-
Reporter: Are those the same cloth you wore?
-
Father: Yes. Abdulfattah: I have been wearing this outfit for 22 days.
-
Reporter: three days with no food. | Abdulfattah: No water too
-
Reporter: Who else was there from your university, other than the three of you?
-
Reporter: How many? | Abdulfattah: So many.. A large number of detainees..
-
Reporter: Are you still angry? | Abdulfattah: Of course. I swear I will not leave until their entire regime falls.
-
Reporter: Is there anything else you'd like to say, abdulfattah?
-
Father: Say whatever you want.
-
Abdulfattah: I want to tell the Egyptian people to come here. No one should sit at home and pretend they are a part of the revolution.
