President Obama: Mitt Romney's Come Down With A Case Of "Romnesia"

  • 0:02 - 0:05
Now that we’re 18 days out from the election,
  • 0:06 - 0:08
    “Mr. ‘Severely Conservative’
  • 0:08 - 0:12
wants you to think he was severely kidding about everything he said
  • 0:12 - 0:15
    over the last year.
  • 0:15 - 0:18
He told folks he was the ideal candidate for
  • 0:18 - 0:23
the Tea Party, now suddenly he’s saying, ‘What, who, me?’
  • 0:25 - 0:28
He’s forgetting what his own positions are,
  • 0:28 - 0:32
and he’s betting that you will, too.
  • 0:32 - 0:35
I mean, he’s changing up so much,
  • 0:35 - 0:38
    backtracking and sidestepping.
  • 0:38 - 0:42
We’ve got to name this condition
  • 0:42 - 0:44
    that he’s going through.
  • 0:44 - 0:51
    I think it’s called ‘Romnesia.’
  • 0:53 - 0:58
    That's what it's called
  • 0:58 - 1:01
    I think that's what he's going through
  • 1:01 - 1:06
    I'm not a medical doctor
  • 1:06 - 1:10
but I do want to go over some of the symptoms with you,
  • 1:10 - 1:13
because I want to make sure that nobody else catches it
  • 1:15 - 1:21
You know, if you say you are for equal pay
  • 1:21 - 1:23
for equal work but you keep
  • 1:23 - 1:28
refusing to say whether or not you signed a Bill that protects "equal pay for equal work"
  • 1:28 - 1:31
    you might have Romnesia.
  • 1:32 - 1:34
If you say women should have access
  • 1:34 - 1:38
to contraceptive care but you support legislation
  • 1:38 - 1:42
that would let your employer deny you contraceptive care
  • 1:42 - 1:45
you might have case of Romnesia.
  • 1:46 - 1:49
If you say you'll protect woman's right to choose but
  • 1:49 - 1:52
you stand up in a primary debate and said
  • 1:52 - 1:54
that you'd be delighted to sign a law to outline
  • 1:54 - 1:57
that right to choose in all cases,
  • 1:57 - 2:01
    man you definitely got Romnesia.
  • 2:05 - 2:08
    This extends to other issues.
  • 2:08 - 2:13
If you say earlier in the year I'm going to give tax cut to the top 1%,
  • 2:13 - 2:17
and then in a debate you say I don't know anything
  • 2:17 - 2:20
about giving a tax cut to rich folks.
  • 2:23 - 2:27
Yeah, you need to get a thermometer
  • 2:28 - 2:34
to take a temperature because you probably got Romnesia.
  • 2:37 - 2:43
If you say that you're a champion of the Coal industry when
  • 2:43 - 2:48
while you were governor, you stood in front of Coal plant and said this plant will kill you.
  • 2:52 - 2:54
    That's Romnesia.
  • 2:57 - 3:03
So, I think you're beginning to be to identify these symptoms.
  • 3:04 - 3:08
And if you come down with a case of Romnesia
  • 3:09 - 3:16
and you can't seem to remember the policies that are still on your website,
  • 3:16 - 3:22
or the promises you made over the six years you've been running for president.
  • 3:22 - 3:29
Here's the good news: ObamaCare covers free existing commissions.
  • 3:32 - 3:38
We can fix you up, we've got a cure.
  • 3:41 - 3:46
We can make you well, Virginia.
  • 3:53 - 3:56
    This a curable disease.
  • 3:59 - 4:08
Women, men, all of you, these are family issues, these are economic issues.
  • 4:08 - 4:12
I want my daughters to have the same opportunities as anybody's sons.
  • 4:13 - 4:17
I believe, America does better, the economy grows more, we create more jobs
  • 4:17 - 4:20
when everybody participates, when everyone's getting a fare shot,
  • 4:20 - 4:26
everybody's getting a fair share, everybody's playing by the same rules, everybody's doing their fair share.
  • 4:26 - 4:29
That's why I'm running for a second term for the President of United States.
  • 4:30 - 4:33
I need you to help me finish the job.
