editor, type the text of what was said in -

as a plain text file. -

0:22 - 0:26To get started visit your Video Manager page,
click the drop-down button next to “Edit” -
0:26 - 0:29and select “Captions”.

0:29 - 0:32Click the “Upload caption file or transcript”
button. -
0:32 - 0:38Now select the file with the caption text.
Make sure to select the “Transcript file” -
0:38 - 0:40option before going forward.

0:40 - 0:47You can also select the language of your transcript
file. Once you’re ready, click “Upload”. -
0:47 - 0:52After processing, you’ll see your transcript
file as an active track. That’s all there -
0:52 -is! Your YouTube video will now have captions!
