Hello, I'm Leia Fee and I'm here at Swansea Airport on a very lovely day – for once... I come from Pembrokeshire orginally but I came to Swansea to go to university I just adore the place, it's lovely. When I was little I used to go to airshows at Brawdy. My grandad was in the RAF. As an adult I then had a birthday present of a flying lesson and it was just so good. About 8 years ago now I started flying and I've been flying from Swansea aiport for about 6 years of that. To start with it feels like it's very difficult but things come with time. Talking on the radio is like learning another language. When you first start using the radio in the aeroplane, it's hard - you can't understand anything. It's totally like another language, but with time it comes and you can hear your own callsign and know what they're saying. I did a bit of Welsh in school but when the time came to choose GCSEs there was a choice of going to Paris if you did French or going to Llangranong if you did Welsh and I'd been to Llangrangog once and I was very sick and it rained all the time! So I choose French. I use Say Something in Welsh on the website too, it works well with traditional classes because SSIW has a big focus on just talking and talking Not worrying if there's mistakes or anything like that. In a way the language of SSIW is more natural than classroom language. SSIW is the real language. After leaving school I started working in the education world. I teach computers to adults. I would like to use Welsh in work, I'd like to teach through the medium of Welsh there's not a lot of things available so I'd like to develop my Welsh to a level I can use it to teach other people. I'm very pleased to have learned. There we are, I'm ready to go! Byee
