The Ideal Candidates for Indonesian Migrant Workers

I've worked in Malaysia for 6 months

My job is to fix furniture

Why will you vote?

I will vote as a citizen of Indonesia because the good and bad of our country's fate depends on us

(It depends on) whether we want to vote or not

I will vote because I want to make the 2014 presidential elections a successful one

My ideal presidential candidate?

I want a charismatic, honest, and wise president who is pro-people

I hope the next elected president can create more job opportunities inside our country

My chosen president will be one who is just, I mean he would take full responsibility for the state of the people

Make some real improvements and not only promises

Whoever gets elected needs to give us some real proof

In my opinion, they only go down to the villages during the election campaign but after they get elected they won't do it again

That's all

I want the next president to provide protection for migrantsworkers, and create jobs in Indonesia

And to decrease oil prices, and tackle corruption

My first hope is that he is more responsible in attending to the migrants' condition

Second, to uphold the rule of law in Indonesia and also in Malaysia in regards to the migrant workers

Third, I hope that he defends migrants who get into trouble outside the country
