Bain Capital-owned Sensata is outsourcing its plant in Freeport, IL to China. Bonnie Borman is losing her job to outsourcing after working for Sensata for 23 years.
This is the Romney Economy: companies outsource well-paying American jobs to further enrich their wealthy investors, and American workers face unemployment or low-wage jobs with no benefits.
Bonnie tells her story of getting to know one of the Chinese workers, Max, who she was training to do her job.
Bonnie says, "I'd like to see a time when Max could come here to visit and see all the sights that we have in this country, and other people like him come and visit, but not come here because they're training to take our jobs back to China."
